So, I’ve got this thing for Rae Dunn pottery, especially her teacups. They’re just so simple and charming, right? I decided I wanted to clean and take care of the ones I had today.

First, I gathered all my Rae Dunn teacups. I wanted to give them a good cleaning. I read somewhere that you can put them in the microwave, which is convenient. But I was mostly focused on getting those pesky tea stains out.
- Wetting the Cups: I started by wetting the inside of each cup with cool water and poured out the extra water.
- Adding Soap: Next, I added a little squirt of dish soap into each cup and also on my sponge. Made sure the sponge was wet, you know?
- Scrubbing: I gently scrubbed the inside of each cup, paying extra attention to the stained areas.
- Rinsing: After scrubbing, I thoroughly rinsed each cup with cool water, making sure all the soap was gone.
- Drying: I set the cups out to air dry.
I also tried using baking soda on one particularly stubborn stain. I just sprinkled some baking soda on the stain and scrubbed it gently with a wet sponge. It worked pretty well!
Result
All in all, it was a successful cleaning session. My Rae Dunn teacups are now sparkling clean and ready for my next tea time. Plus, I’m really into the whole Rae Dunn style. It’s so cool how she makes all these different designs. It’s fun to find them in stores. This little cleaning project turned out to be quite satisfying. And the method is simple. I think this approach is really effective.
