Today, I wanna talk about something that’s been bugging me for a while – the discontinuation of Lipton Green Tea White Peach. I mean, seriously, who makes these decisions?

So, I remember the first time I tried this tea. It was a hot summer day, and I was looking for something refreshing. I saw this Lipton Green Tea White Peach at the store and thought, “Why not?”
I brewed myself a cup, took a sip, and bam! It was like a party in my mouth. The delicate white peach flavor combined with the crisp green tea was just perfect. I was hooked.
I started buying this stuff regularly. It became my go-to drink, especially during the summer months. I even started recommending it to my friends and family. Some of them liked it, some didn’t, but that’s not the point.
Then, one day, I went to the store to restock, and guess what? It was gone. I searched every aisle, asked the store employees, but nothing. It was like it vanished from the face of the earth. I found some articles online said that Lipton was updating its green tea portfolio and that there was a spike in green tea sales. But the white peach flavor? Nowhere to be found. I learned that they are not alone, competitors like Peet’s Coffee & Tea and Argo Tea are also in the game.
I later learned that Lipton had been acquired by a private equity firm, CVC Capital Partners. Maybe that had something to do with it? Who knows.

- Tried other Lipton green tea flavors: Nope, not the same.
- Looked for similar teas from other brands: Still nothing.
- Tried making my own white peach green tea: Disaster.
Here’s what I did:
I even tried to find it online. I found some old listings, but they were all out of stock. It’s like the universe was teasing me.
Eventually, I gave up. I accepted the fact that my beloved Lipton Green Tea White Peach was no more. But I still miss it. It’s like a part of me is missing. Sounds dramatic, I know, but that’s how much I loved this tea.
So, yeah, that’s my story. A story of love, loss, and a discontinued tea. If anyone from Lipton is reading this, please bring it back. Pretty please?
Anyway, what about you guys? Did you ever have a favorite product that got discontinued? Let me know in the comments.
