Hey guys, it’s been a while! Today I’m gonna show you how I made a super cute bird feeder, and guess what? It’s made from a teacup and a spoon! Yeah, you heard that right. It was easier than I thought, and it looks amazing in my garden.

Getting Started
First things first, I gathered all the stuff I needed. I found an old teacup and saucer that I didn’t use anymore. Any pattern or color works, just pick something you like. Then, I grabbed a metal spoon, some strong glue – you know, the kind that sticks to anything, some twine or string, and of course, birdseed.
Putting It Together
I started by bending the spoon. This was a bit tricky, but I managed. I bent the handle part to make a little hook. This is where the birds will perch, so make sure it’s sturdy. Then, I glued the bottom of the spoon to the inside of the teacup. I made sure it was really secure because, you know, birds can be a bit clumsy.
- Bend the spoon.
- Glue the spoon to the teacup.
- Wait for it to dry completely.
Next, I glued the teacup to the saucer. I placed it right in the center and pressed down firmly. I left it to dry for a few hours. This glue needs time to set, so don’t rush it. After that, I took some twine and tied it around the handle of the teacup. This is how you’ll hang it, so make it a good, strong knot. I looped it a few times to be extra sure.
Hanging It Up
Finally, I filled the teacup with birdseed. I chose a spot in my garden that’s easy for the birds to get to but also safe from my cat. I hung the feeder on a tree branch, and it looked so charming! It’s like a little piece of art that’s also practical.
And that’s it! It was a fun little project, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. The birds seem to love it, too. I’ve been watching them enjoy their new feeder all morning. If you’re looking for a simple and fun DIY, you should totally try this. It’s a great way to add a personal touch to your garden and help out your local birds at the same time. Trust me, if I can do it, you can too!
